Festival Number Four!!!! The Falls has been selected to be part of this year’s Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles!

Now in its 7th year, Dances With Films is touted as the only festival in the U.S. dedicated solely to “unknowns.” Their motto is, “No Stars. No Politics. No Sh*t.” The Hollywood Reporter has called Dances With Films “the defiant fest of raw talent.” Sounds like a great event to be part of, and we are so proud to have been selected. Playing in L.A., finally!

After making its first film festival appearance at the Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, The Falls played to sell-out crowds on 2 consecutive days at the Phoenix Film Festival in our home state of Arizona. At the same time, The Falls was also playing to a packed house at the Longbaugh Film Festival in Portland, Oregon.

All in all, we made an excellent showing at the 3 back-to-back film festivals, made some new friends and contacts, garnered great press coverage, and above all have generated more buzz for the film. For once, industry players have been contacting us about the film instead of the other way around.

Meanwhile, we expect to soon have an announcement regarding the availability of The Falls via DVD, home video, and possibly broadband distribution. Please stay tuned!
