“Stabbing Stupidity” has been selected to be part of the 11th annual L.A. Shorts Fest, September 5 - 16, 2007 - the largest short film festival in the world. This comes right in the wake of our Grand Jury Award - Short Film Honorable Mention at another L.A. film festival, Dances With Films. Needless to say, we are totally stoked that our little film we made for “On The Lot” has had success far beyond our initial expectations.
What’s more, L.A. Shorts Fest is an Academy-qualifying festival! To quote their official materials:
In past years, 25 participating films have earned Academy Award nominations, with 8 filmmakers actually taking home the Oscar.
