Stabbing Stupidity in the Los Angeles Journal
A nice blurb about our short film made it into the Los Angeles Journal’s wrap-up of this year’s L.A. Shorts Fest.
Stupidity wins honorable mention at Dances With Films!
Variety broke the story on Friday:
Tom Tagholm’s “A Bout de Truffe” drew the short film kudos, with an honorable mention going to “Stabbing Stupidity,” directed by Paul DeNigris and written by Steve Briscoe.
This is the 2nd film festival honor for “Stabbing Stupidity,” coming on the heels of director Paul DeNigris’ win for “Arizona Filmmaker of the Year” at this year’s Phoenix Film Festival.

Fox 10 Interview
Here’s the interview I shot yesterday about the Phoenix Film Festival and my films. Interviewer Yetta Gibson says I have four films in the festival – which is sort of true if you count the 2 I directed (“The Long Shot” and “Stabbing Stupidity”) and the 2 films made by my students at UAT (“Pirate Booty” and “Peephole”).
